Something New:

   I would like to take up the rest of the time that I have with all of you to talk about something that I just started using and then about my taste in music. This section is actually quite similar to my section of randomness, but this section has more of my opinion in it.

   Last month, I had started planning my friend party. I needed a playlist since there was going to be dancing involved and you need music for that. I was worried that my iPod wouldn’t be good enough since my friends have COMPLETELY different tastes in music from me and from each other. Some of them like country, rap, dance, or show tunes. My brilliant cousin suggested that I use Spotify. Long story short, I went on and made a playlist that would last for FOUR HOURS AND TWENTY-SIX MINUTES. There was a wide range of music on there but a good portion of it was alternative. Several times throughout the night of my party, my friends told me that I had an awesome taste in music and that they loved all of it! I was thinking…Score! However, the best part was when Vicky pulled up her playlist and The Killers were on there! Vicky also knew “Luck” by American Authors which I had just heard for the first time last Tuesday! Needless to say, I was pretty excited.

   Now I know that you’re probably waiting for something meaningful to come out of all of this. You should use Spotify! If you look up one artist a similar one will pop up, and I heard a ton of songs that I either had never heard before or didn’t know the name of them. It was grand! Well, that’s all for now folks!
