Let the games begin! I’m just kidding. For those of you who want to know what became of Birdy, here is the second half of her biography.

Birdy’s Biography:
Birdy started off by recreating songs done by other artists in order to get her name, and her voice, out there. She collected all of these songs together along with one original one into her debut album. It was released on November 7, 2011. It became wildly popular all over Europe. On December 21, 2011 she received a Golden Single in the Netherlands for selling more than 25,000 copies of her album! The next day, she received the same award in Belgium! Her debut album reached number one on Australia’s tracks in August 2012. “Skinny Love” and “People Help The People” were the top songs from this album. Over the course of the next two years, 2012 and 2013, Birdy contributed her music to many shows and movies. “Just A Game” was released in The Hunger Games soundtrack in March 2012. In June 2012, Birdy collaborated with Mumford and Sons to create the song “Learn Me Right” for the movie Brave. For this, she received her FIRST Grammy Award nomination! Her “Live In London” EP was released on August 7, 2012. It contained eight songs including “Just A Game”. Birdy performed her cover of “Bird Gerhl” in the opening of the Paralympic Games on August 29, 2012. On February 16, 2013 she sang at the most famous Italian music festival. This is just naming a few of her many accomplishments. These are the most essential to Birdy’s rise to fame. I love her songs, and I can’t wait to hear more!
