I’m Back!
Hi again everyone! If you remember correctly, I stated last
week that I would finish the biography for The Bravery next time. Seeing as
today is the next time, I’ll finish it in the next section. First, I would like
to say a few things that I didn’t get to say in my last blog post since I
didn’t include my section of randomness. It’s totally my favorite
section…anyways, I’m part of show choir club at my school and we’re going to be
performing “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay at school soon! It’s stuck in my head so
now I’m typing this and listening to Coldplay. Without further ado, I give you
The Bravery: A Biography. Part Two!
The
Bravery: A Biography…CONTINUED
The Bravery released their first EP, Unconditional, in 2005. They were announced as being “New York’s
Official Next Big Thing”. If that wasn’t enough for all of you, MTV and Rolling
Stone declared them as being a band to watch. They went on tour with Ash later
in 2005 at about the same time that their first album came out. It was the
self-titled album. The two biggest singles were “An Honest Mistake” and
“Unconditional”. The Bravery toured some more on their own before working on
their second album, The Sun and the Moon.
This was released in May of 2007, and it included different instruments to
experiment with their style of music. Stir
the Blood was released in 2009 and it went back to their original style of
music that had made them popular. John Hill was The Bravery’s producer for this
album, yet he was also working with Shakira at the same time. Hill offered her
a song that he and Endicott had written. This song became her hit single “She
Wolf”. Is your mind blown yet?
I actually didn't know that John Hill offered Shakira "She Wolf," so yes, my mind is blown. Also, I love "Cough Syrup," by Young the Giant. I actually have the song on my phone.
